Saint has signed up a team for the new RTCW tournament Battle on the Beach III. This marks the most action on the RTCW front in the last couple of years. The success of #WolfPUG has a good deal to do with the renewed interest in the game, and hopefully will keep the momentum going for a while. Fall3n is putting together the team under his old handle f0x, and will hopefully woop some of our old guns in to good enough shape to display some old school elbow rage. If the tournament goes well, making an appearance in TWL OSP Season 12 might be a possibility too.
For all the oldschool RTCW players, several long-time RTCW players are organizing pickup games on weekends. Games are on Sunday nights, and team selection is done on friday or saturday for the upcoming games. Even though RTCW seems to be almost dead, several old school players are reinstalling and showing up to play in these pickup games.
